Bright, Bright, Sun-Shiney Day

This past weekend was beyond glorious weather in Nashville. Spring really pulled out all the stops this year to let us all know It Had Arrived!! The windows and glass doors were open all weekend long. Nothing makes me happier than not having to run heat or AC.

Saturday we went on a walk with pup, played some Frisbee with her, went and met some friends at the dog park and then just laid around the rest of the day.
 {the weather was so nice we couldn't exclude the cats. They have fun rolling around in the sun and eating grass}

Sunday finally got off our lazy butts and did something about our sorry excuse for a yard. It was WAY overdue. It was gorgeous out, but a bit hotter than it really needed to be on March 20th. That being said, I got burnt like it was July 4th and I was sitting out on the beach. I haven't decided if I'm going to embrace this as the start of my tanning season, or be embarrassed that I am probably the only person in history to get burnt on March 20th!!

Who's the Woman of the House?

This seems like an easy enough answer considering it's just Matt and I in this house {as far as people go}. However, if I get out of bed to do any little task like go to the ladies room, give the cats breakfast, etc. this is what I have to come back to...

Yes, I can see how this is so adorable, but seriously, this is stepping over the line! And when you try and move her... oh no. The ferocious beast comes out complete with snarling teeth and horrible growls - not cute at all. We've {I mean 90% Matt} have created a monster.

Next thing you know I'll be sleeping on the twin bed in the guest bedroom!

3rd Anniversary

A few weeks back was mine and Matt's 3rd wedding anniversary. It doesn't seem like it's been that long. A friend of mine at work is deep into planning her wedding, and when we talk about it I really have to check and remind myself that it wasn't all that short a time ago. Seriously, I do talk about it like it was 6 months ago!

Anyways, March 1st was our 3rd anniversary. Matt of course sent the most beautiful flowers. He always sends wonderful arrangements.
 After a few days I decided to split it up and make a few arrangements for around the house.

After we got home from work we headed out to a great dinner at Watermark. FAB-U-LOUS!! I have eaten there before on a few occasions, but always for work dinners. The staff was so nice that they brought out a nice champagne toast for us to celebrate. Then for dessert the chef sent out a nice little present. They were so thoughtful.
{This is a terrible picture. I only had my phone with me}

It was a great ending to year #3 and now we're looking forward to seeing what #4 has in store for us.
